Growing international need for the simulation
of manufacturing processes
The booth of Simufact Engineering GmbH drew the attention of
many visitors at the Wire 2008 fair in Düsseldorf. Numerous
engineers from various industries have visited the company and
have shown a considerable interest in simulation for bulk metal
forming processes.
"Globally seen, the need for optimized manufacturing processes
is growing immensely", said Michael Wohlmuth, managing director
of Simufact Engineering GmbH. "We have been able to establish
numerous new international contacts at the Wire 2008 and many of
our existing customers took the opportunity to get an insight into
the new features and possibilities coming up with the new release
of our product family."
At the Wire, Simufact introduced the
new version of Simufact.forming, which will officially be released
in May this year. Simufact.forming 8.1 offers significant improvements
of the graphical user interface, a superior solver technology,
a more efficient data exchange with CAD tools, plus the implementation
of parallel computing methods, to guarantee short calculation
times.
Moreover, Simufact informed about its
latest news and activities. With the foundation of Simufact-Americas
LLC in the USA and a new office at the technology center METAKUS
in Baunatal, Simufact continues to expand its national and international
operations to efficiently support customers worldwide.
