Qualitatively high FE simulations
are based on an efficient meshing strategy. With Simufact.mesh
2D contours can be meshed with a minimum of elements but a maximum
of exactness representation of important contours. Mesh generation
with voids or holes is possible as well as an automatic mesh
separation.
The focus of Simufact.mesh lies in the fast mesh
generation for tools, meshing in riveting and generally stamping
and trimming processes in 2D. More, it can be used for the preparation
of 3D models, generated from 2D contours by extrusion afterwards.

The 2 ½ D meshing algorithm enables the software
to generate a process dependent mesh (refinement) of sheet metal
structures for drawing or welding applications. Sweeps or welding
paths are automatically meshed in more details than the rest of
the structure.
Special technology for the 3D hexahedral meshing procedure fills the spectrum
of Simufact.mesh.
